It was very interesting to visit the Helsingborg School Museum. We looked around and read a bit, listened to the old records he played and looked at old school photos. There were many happy faces when we found ourselves and other old acquaintances among the pictures. Unfortunately, they will soon close for good as they did not receive any grant to be able to continue with their business.

Nice, interesting, but sad that you have to close.
Visit Skåneland
The museum was founded in 1985 and is housed in Helsingborg's first real public school building, Östra skolan from 1866, which is located just north of Slottsvångsskolan at Bergaliden in Helsingborg. The museum has 300 square meters of exhibition space, which shows the development of the public school system, including through reconstructions of school environments, for example classrooms, sewing room and woodwork room. Administrative parts from the public school era are also recreated, such as a head teacher's office and school doctor's office. The museum focuses its activities on the school's development in Helsingborg and its immediate surroundings. The museum's collections include, among other things, 3,000 photographs, 2,500 school posters, over 12,000 textbooks and 3,500 other objects from the 19th century to the present day.
